Photography / Still Life

I'll try and put this as brief as I possibly can: new digital camera, holiday, quality test.

I was just lolling around and started to play with certain knobby things, then I played with the camera... and this turned up.

This is really interesting. What is it? it's exceptionally abstract and the mental image that occurs is of a glass beaker radiating colourless rainbows.

The focal point makes this quite a different image, soft and yet stark. I think you could do a lot as a photographer. Definitely keep going as you may turn out some fantastic images.

looks really nice

either the colour is too desaturated, or there isn't enough contrast.. can't put my finger on it, you should mess around with the levels in PS or something
